Superwind offers powerful and reliable wind turbines that are ideal for the most demanding applications in harsh environments such as the high seas or arctic regions.

Similar to large wind turbines, the rotor blades of all superwind turbines are automatically adjusted above the nominal wind speed, and the aerodynamic loads are limited directly at the rotor.

 

High forces on the structure are avoided, significantly increasing safety and reliability. At the same time, a Superwind continues to generate full power well above the nominal wind speed: situations in which other wind turbines have to be shut down.

  • Available in 350W and 1250W Wind Generation options

  • 350W available in 12V, 24V or 48V DC options

  • 1250W available in 48V DC options.

  • Operating range: 3.5 to 35m/s – unbraked

  • Survival wind speed: 50m/s – braked.
